He has vast experience in managing complex coronary artery disease and various other cardiovascular diseases and conditions.
He also handles complex coronary interventional procedures such as left main disease, chronic total occlusions, and calcified lesions.
He was awarded the British Heart Foundation Scholarship Scheme and Junior Research Fellowship to undertake cardiovascular medicine research in a doctoral program at the University of Edinburgh from 2000 to 2002. He underwent his cardiology advanced specialty training at the National Heart Centre Singapore and was certified in 2006 as a specialist in cardiology.
Dr. Chia had been a research fellow at Harvard Medical School and an interventional cardiology fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, U.S.A.
Before starting a private practice, he was a senior consultant cardiologist and interventional cardiologist at the National Heart Centre Singapore. He was concurrently a senior clinical lecturer at the National University of Singapore's faculty of medicine and the director of the cardiology residency program.
He made significant contributions to cardiology education and training. He presently holds the position of deputy chairman of the SingHealth Institution Research Ethics Committee. Previously, he served as a National Medical Research Council Scientific Review Panel member.
He published and presented his research on advanced intravascular imaging techniques like optical coherence tomography to provide insight into the development of coronary artery diseases. He further developed his clinical specialty in interventional cardiology and specialized in structural heart and coronary interventional procedures.
He extensively published cardiovascular research in international peer-reviewed journals. He continues to play a significant role in organizing and speaking at numerous international and local cardiology conferences.

He specializes in procedures such as complex left central coronary artery disease intervention, complex bifurcation coronary artery disease intervention, and chronic total occlusion of coronary artery intervention.
He is well-versed in using specialized intra-coronary artery imaging tools like intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and optical coherence tomography (OCT), which enhances treatment options in diseased coronary arteries and optimizes coronary stent placement.
He is also particularly interested in stroke prevention in patients with abnormal heart rhythms (such as atrial fibrillation) and primary prevention (preventive healthcare).
In 2017, he returned to Singapore and worked as a certified senior interventional cardiologist, providing 24/7 acute heart attack interventional service in KTPH.

Dr. Chiam Toon Lim Paul

He performs transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and percutaneous left atrial appendage (L.A.A.) closure and patent foramen ovale (P.F.O.) closure for stroke prevention, which makes him one of the few cardiologists in Singapore.
Dr. Chiam subspecialises in interventional cardiology and spent 18 months at the Lenox Hill Heart and Vascular Institute of New York, gaining hands-on experience in complex coronary angioplasty, carotid artery stenting, and peripheral artery and angioplasty structural heart disease (heart valve) interventions.

Dr. Chuang Hsuan-Hung finished his residency in internal medicine at Singapore General Hospital and acquired his master's degree in internal medicine from the National University of Singapore in 2000.
Following his fellowship training in cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore, Dr. Chuang was awarded scholarships to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, U.S.A. He subspecialised in congenital heart diseases, heart failure, sudden cardiac death, and heart transplant intensive care.

Dr. John Ng

Neurologist

He specialized in general neurology, with a keen interest in headaches, epilepsy, and stroke.
Dr. John Ng started working in 2004 at K.K. Women's and Children's Hospital (K.K.H.) later served more than ten years at the Singapore General Hospital (S.G.H.).
He led the department in the planning and implementing of the transition care program transferring epilepsy patients from K.K.H. to S.G.H.

Dr. Siow Hua Chiang Charles

Neurologist

After he graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MB BCh BAO, LRCPI, LRCSI, 1995), Dr. Siow completed his specialty training in the U.S. He underwent a Residency Programme in Neurology at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals, Virginia, before ending a fellowship in Headache Management at the renowned Jefferson Headache Center in Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Professor Stephen Silberstein. He was subsequently appointed as a staff and served as an Attending Neurologist at the Department of Neurology and as a Fellowship Director while he was there.

His experience exceeds more than ten years in the field; Dr. Charles Siow Hua Chiang provides specialized care in diagnosing and treating headaches, pain disorders, and stroke. He currently practices out of his clinics at Mount
Elizabeth Novena and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals.
When he returned to Singapore, he was appointed as a consultant in the Department of Neurology at the National
Neuroscience Institute (Singapore General Hospital campus). During his term, he served as Director of the Headache
Program at Singapore General Hospital and as Chairman of the Ministry of Health's Headache Clinical Practice Guidelines
committee. He established his private practice in 2006.
His commitment to his field goes beyond his clinic and patients. He serves in several societies dedicated to headache
research and the education and support of headache condition sufferers in Singapore and the region. He is presently the President of the Headache Society of Singapore and an Executive Committee member of the Pain Association of Singapore.

Dr. Pan Beng Siong Andrew

In 1991, he did his graduation from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (MBBS). Dr. Pan went through the basic training and then completed specialty training in Neurology (MRCP UK, 1997). Then, through the Health Manpower Development Program (HMDP) Award, he attended a two-year fellowship program at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, U.S.A., where he sharpened his skills in the management of epilepsy & was also given knowledge in Sleep Medicine and Intra-operative Electrophysiology. In 2003 He was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Neurology).

Dr. Andrew Pan currently practices out of his clinic at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. There, he provides specialized care in the treatment of epilepsy as well as the entire spectrum of general neurological disorders and sleep disorders. He is a neurologist with more than 15 years of experience in the field.

His dedication to the field of neurology continues outside his clinic and patients. Besides being appointed a Teacher and Examiner for the Asian Epilepsy Academy in 2002, Dr. Pan was also the Vice President of the Western Pacific Regional Committee for the International Bureau for Epilepsy (I.B.E.) in 2005.

An extensively published neurologist, Dr. Pan has several peer-reviewed local and international journals. He wrote a chapter titled "R.E.M. Behavior Disorder and Sleep-Related Epilepsy" in the book Sleep Medicine: A Clinical Guide to Common Sleep Disorders, commissioned by the Singapore Sleep Society (published 2008). Dr. Anandakumar provides minimally invasive surgical options for addressing complex foot and ankle conditions, painful injuries of the lower limb, and different sports injuries like arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery for cartilage defects and impingement, deformity correction, total ankle replacement for managing arthritis, and more.

He served as a senior orthopedic and spine surgery consultant at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). At KTPH, he initiated a one-stop clinic for lower back pain.
After he completed his MBBS from Madras Medical College in India, Dr. Kumar underwent training in orthopedic surgery in the U.K. After receiving his bachelor's degree, he entered higher training in Cardiff and attained his fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons, U.K. He went on to take training in spinal surgery and spent 18 months at the spine unit in Cardiff. This was followed by spinal surgery fellowships at the Royal Perth Hospital in Australia and then at the Nottingham Spinal Unit, U.K. Besides clinical work, he is currently an adjunct assistant professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore.

Dr. Bell David Paul

Orthopedic Surgery

Dr. David Paul Bell completed his graduation from the National University of Singapore in 1995. He received the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in October 2000. He was conferred the Masters of Medicine in Orthopaedics by the Academy of Medicine of Singapore in April 2002. He completed training in Orthopaedic Surgery and obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthopaedics) in November 2005.
Once he was selected for the Ministry of Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Scholarship, he underwent training in the fields of Adult Reconstruction in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty and management of complex musculoskeletal trauma at the Charite University in Berlin, Germany. Before coming on board at Island Orthopaedics, he practiced at Changi General Hospital (C.G.H.) as a Consultant and Director in the Orthopaedic Trauma Service and Clinical Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
In addition, Dr. Bell was also actively involved as an NSmen Medical Officer in the Singapore Navy, being a certified Designated Factory Doctor for Compressed Air Works and having been involved in the hyperbaric treatment of divers with decompression illness and also patients with poorly healing wounds.
Dr. Bell's sub-specialty interests include joint replacement surgery, trauma, and reconstructive surgery. In 2004, he was a senior consultant medical oncologist and director of the Cancer Education Service at the National Cancer Centre, Singapore, before entering private practice. Dr. Ang also visited K.K. Women's and Children's Hospital as a consultant to support the setup of the cancer genetics service, which sees ovarian, breast, and other gynecological cancer patients.
In 2002, he was the leading cancer specialist in the breast cancer workgroup for the National Cancer Centre and SingHealth cluster. Dr. Benjamin Chuah

Oncologist

He subspecializes in gastrointestinal cancers, including oesophageal, gastric, biliary tract, pancreatic, liver (hepatocellular carcinoma), neuroendocrine, and colorectal cancers. He was a former consultant in the department of Haematology-Oncology at the National Cancer Institute Singapore, National University Hospital.
Before entering private practice, he was actively involved in research and teaching. He was the director of postgraduate medical education in medical oncology and was a core internal medicine faculty for the residency program.
He conferred in 2011 the National University Hospital Postgraduate Teaching Excellence Award for his efforts. He also worked in translational and clinical research for many years. He was the principal or co-investigator in international trials using novel and targeted therapy drugs for pancreatic and colorectal cancer.
Dr. Chuah was awarded the NUH Innovative Grant for research in warfarin pharmacogenomics and was honored with the inaugural Kobayashi Foundation Award for work he has done on serial changes in the expression of breast cancer-related proteins in response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. His research has led to several 1st author publications in high-impact medical and oncology journals, including Gastroenterology, GUT, and Annals of Oncology.
As a clinical cancer specialist and researcher, his research work includes small cell gall bladder cancer with paraneoplastic hyponatremia, exploring the lack of somatic mutations in the VEGFR-2 tyrosine kinase domain in hepatocellular carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) with bony metastases, and use of the chemotherapy drug docetaxel (Taxotere) with or without ketoconazole in breast cancer.

Dr. Chin Tan Min

Medical Oncologist

Her areas of expertise lie in general oncology and lung cancers. She was conferred the HMDP fellowship to undergo higher sub-specialization training in thoracic oncology, with a clinical and research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Centre in the U.S. She was a senior consultant at the National University Cancer Institute at NUH before private practice and a visiting consultant at Ng Teng Fong Hospital.
Dr. Chin contributes her expertise in thoracic oncology to various Ministry of Health committees, formulating guidelines on screening and treatment for lung cancers. She is also an advisory member for lung cancer for the Singapore Cancer Society & core faculty for the oncology senior residency program at National University Health System. She is the principal associate at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore, where she continues her current research.
She is one of the members of the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the International Association of Lung Cancer. With a unique and active interest in translational and clinical research to better patient care, she has conducted several international industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials as principal and co-investigator.
Dr. Chin's work has been published in peer-reviewed, high-impact factor journals such as Nature, Nature Medicine, and Journal of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Foo Kian Fong

His clinical interests are in gastrointestinal cancers. In 1998, he started his training in medical oncology. He completed his advanced training and, in 2001, was a certified specialist. At the Peter McCallum Cancer Institute, he had a one-year stint as a Fellow in Melbourne, where he was trained in gastrointestinal cancers from 2001 to 2002.
He was earlier working as a senior consultant in the medical oncology department at the National Cancer Centre.
He was also a former clinical teacher in medicine at the National University of Singapore.
He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncologists, the Hong Kong College of Physicians, and the European Society of Medical Oncologists.
